Annual Founders Ball

The Founders Ball provides important support for the Louisiana Museum Foundation’s (LMF) efforts to preserve, present and promote Louisiana history and culture through our work on behalf of the Louisiana State Museum’s three core areas: collections, exhibitions and education.

Each year the organization debuts an exhibit and honors a significant person or organization for their contributions to the history & culture of Louisiana at Founders Ball. Themes vary and sometimes include costumed celebrations.
